Packing
Please package your radio very carefully. Bubble wrap works great. Some have put rigid cardboard or small PVC tubing around the volume and tuning control shafts so they will be protected in shipping.
Shipping
UPS or FedEx are best and the most reliable.
Insuring
Insure them. Many radio’s are difficult to replace and some items, like volume controls & dial glass are extremely scarce. Best to over-insure than under-insure.
